The purpose and intent of the Mela

The purpose of the Mela is to nurture a diverse community of actors that can work together to reimagine the future of key justice experiences and systems such as dispute resolution, legal services and legal aid, legal literacy, legal education, and environmental justice. We believe that large scale systemic change requires a diversity of actors to engage and even collaborate. The Mela seeks to serve as a platform for a wide variety of actors such as legal innovators, technologists, government officials, senior judges, business leaders, artists, community leaders, and students, to come together. This will create an opportunity for people to see new innovations in the field, meet remarkable changemakers and also look at questions where we have a difference in perspective but can meaningfully engage and co-create pathways and possibilities that ultimately serve justice. This Justicemakers Mela is the 5th edition of annual ecosystem gatherings anchored by Agami. Previous gatherings have happened in Delhi, Bangalore and Pune, but this is the largest yet with over 200 organizations from 180+ districts of the country being represented.

मेला का उद्देश्य एक विविधतापूर्ण समुदाय का पोषण करना है, जिसमें ऐसे अभिनेता शामिल हों जो विवाद समाधान, कानूनी सेवाएं और सहायता, कानूनी साक्षरता, कानूनी शिक्षा, और पर्यावरणीय न्याय जैसे प्रमुख न्याय अनुभवों और प्रणालियों के भविष्य की फिर से कल्पना करने के लिए मिलकर काम कर सकें। हमारा मानना है कि बड़े पैमाने पर प्रणालीगत परिवर्तन के लिए विभिन्न प्रकार के अभिनेताओं की भागीदारी और सहयोग की आवश्यकता होती है। मेला कानूनी नवप्रवर्तकों, तकनीकी विशेषज्ञों, सरकारी अधिकारियों, वरिष्ठ न्यायाधीशों, व्यापारिक नेताओं, कलाकारों, सामुदायिक नेताओं और छात्रों जैसे विभिन्न प्रकार के अभिनेताओं के लिए एक मंच के रूप में काम करने का प्रयास करता है। यह एक ऐसा अवसर प्रदान करेगा जहां लोग इस क्षेत्र में नई नवाचारों को देख सकें, प्रेरणादायक बदलाव लाने वालों से मिल सकें और उन प्रश्नों पर विचार कर सकें जहां दृष्टिकोण में भिन्नता है, लेकिन सार्थक संवाद और सह-निर्माण के माध्यम से ऐसे रास्ते और संभावनाएं बनाई जा सकती हैं जो अंततः न्याय की सेवा करें।यह जस्टिसमेकर्स मेला अगामी द्वारा आयोजित वार्षिक पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र सम्मेलनों का पांचवां संस्करण है। पहले के सम्मेलन दिल्ली, बेंगलुरु और पुणे में आयोजित किए गए थे, लेकिन यह अब तक का सबसे बड़ा आयोजन है जिसमें देश के 180+ जिलों से 200 से अधिक संगठनों का प्रतिनिधित्व होगा।
